Kara Wilson
Hey, my name is Kara Wilson and this is my portfolio. My name is Kara Wilson, I am currently in the 9th grade and I’m interested in taking Intro to Health Care to help me pursue in becoming a pharmacist. I am very good at typing fast, problem solving and working with others that Intro to Healthcare as helped me in. My goal is to become very successful in what I need to do to have this job, and I really like to walk with others and I want a job where I can work with others. I am interested in pursuing a job in the pharmacist field. I have always been interest in something medical because I like to work with people and help others. I again would hope to use this job to allow me to work with others and at the same time knowing that I’m going to help others get better. Next year I am planning on taking any of the courses that will allow me work or learn about anything in the medical field. In the medical field I could be a pharmacist aide, pharmacist technician or anything to do with medicine. I would be able to work at a pharmacist or doctors office. My reference would tell you that I am a very good worker and that I work affectively but I sometimes get sidetracked, but I work hard, always get my task done and do what I’m suppose to do. The sample of work that I will be showing a essay that I have wrote for my English class. I chose this particular essay because it is a good example of the excellent and creative quality of work that I am able to produce. This sample of work is a essay that we were asked to create at the beginning of the course as a way to demonstrate our knowledge about how drugs are bad for you and how they effect you physically and mentally. I would say that I am organized, hard worker, and a honest person. While I was creating this portfolio I learned a lot about myself. As I went through the years of work that I have done, I have seen a improvement in my work. I’ve also been able to reflect on all the things that I have been able to do and learn here at the school. I realized that my courses that I have been taking as make me even more interested in the medical field, which confirms my wanting to pursue a career as being a pharmacist.
